
What’s up makers! Today I am sharing my Twisted Headband pattern on the blog. This is one of my fastest patterns to work up and takes less then 1 ball of yarn!! Win Win, am I right!

List materials needed:
Size 5 Chunky weight yarn *Or 2 strands of size 4 weight yarn held together*
8 mm Crochet Hook
Yarn needle
scissors
Optional- tape measure
Sizing info for Toddler- Adult sizes included in pattern below
Note: This headband starts with the width, working row by row to create the length. This headband is totally customizable to fit any size you would like. You can change the width by adding/subtracting from the beginning chain. Just be sure to make the chain an ODD number.
List of stitches used:
CH: Chain
SC: Single Crochet
DC: Double Crochet
Sk: Skip
sts: stitches

PATTERN:
Ch 13
Row 1: DC in 3rd ch from hook. *Sk 1 st, (SC, DC) in the next st. * Repeat * * until last 2 sts. Sk 1, SC in last st.
Row 2: Ch 1. DC in first st. *Sk 1 st, (SC, DC) in the next st. * Repeat * * until last 2 sts. Sk 1, SC in last st.
Keep repeating Row 2 until you reached your desired length. Measurements for different ages :
TODDLER: 18-20 INCHES
CHILD: 19-21 INCHES
TEEN/ADULT: 21-22 INCHES
KEEP IN MIND THAT YARN STRETCHES AND TO CREATE YOUR HEADBAND ACCORDINGLY.
*FOR INSTANCE I MAKE MY ADULT HEADBAND 20 INCHES LONG TO FIT MY HEAD WHICH IS 22 INCHES*
Tie off leaving a 6-10 inch tail.
ASSEMBLY:
LAY YOUR HEADBAND FLAT
TAKE LOWER LEFT CORNER AND BRING UPWARD OVER THE TOP RIGHT CORNER

KEEPING YOUR FINGERS ON ALL FOUR CORNERS BRING THE TWO SHORT ENDS TOGETHER.
USE YOUR YARN NEEDLE TO WHIP STITCH THE TWO ENDS TOGETHER.
WEAVE IN ANY AND ALL ENDS & YOU ARE DONE!!
