Ribbed Crochet Fingerless Gloves Pattern

Winter is still in full force, and I know I can’t be the only one with cold hands 😉 I wanted to share my fun textured fingerless gloves pattern with y’all!

If you love these fingerless glove hand template I have above you can find them in my friend Anna’s Etsy! She has a TON of super cute templates like this, that you can print off at home and use for craft shows or to simply show off your handmade items <3

Materials:

5 mm H hook

Size 4 yarn (approx. 120 yards)

Yarn Needle

Scissors

Stitches Used:

Sl St- Slip Stitch

Sl St in BLO- Slip Stitch in Back Loop Only

SC- Single Crochet

HDC- Half Double Crochet

HDC3L- Half Double Crochet in 3rd Loop (also known as the Camel Stitch)

Notes:

This will create a pair of adult size fingerless gloves.

The cuff ribbing is worked flat then Slip Stitched on the side to create a tube. The body of the glove will be worked in the round.

Instructions for both Left and Right hand gloves below.

Pattern:

CH 17, Sl St in the second CH. Sl St in each CH across. (16 Sts)

Row 1- CH 1, Turn- Sl St in BLO across. (16 Sts)

Row 2-27- Repeat Row 1

Or until your ribbing (not stretched) reaches 5.5 inches long.

Fold your ribbing in half so your two short ends are together

Sl St the two ends together .

We will now be working in the round

Body of your glove- Be sure to Sl St to the beginning st to complete every round.

Round 1- CH 1, Place 27 SC evenly around the top of your ribbing.

Round 2- CH 1, HDC in each st around. (27 HDC)

Round 3- CH 1, HDC3L in each st around. (27 HDC)

Round 4- CH 1, HDC in each st around. (27 HDC)

Round 5- Repeat Round 3

Round 6- Repeat Round 4

Round 7- Repeat Round 3

Round 8- Repeat Round 4

Round 9 (RIGHT HAND ONLY) CH 1, HDC3L in first 16 sts. CH 3, skip 3 sts, HDC3L in the last 8 sts. *The CH 3 skip 3 create the opening for your thumb*

Round 9 (LEFT HAND ONLY) CH 1, HDC3L in first 8 sts. CH 3, skip 3 sts, HDC3L in the last 16 sts. *The CH 3 skip 3 create the opening for your thumb*

Round 10- CH 1, HDC in each stitch until CH 3 space. Place 3 HDC in space. HDC in each remaining st. (27 HDC)

Round 11- CH 1, HDC3L in each st around. (27 HDC)

Round 12- CH 1, HDC in each st around. (27 HDC)

Round 13- Repeat Round 11

Round 14- CH 1, SC in each st around. (27 SC)

Tie off

Repeat these steps to create another glove, be sure to make a left and right one!
