These gloves are fun and functional! The cables give them a unique look, while the fingerless design means you can still use your phone or tablet while wearing them. They’re perfect for chilly weather, and make a great gift for the holidays.

Crochet cables can be a bit tricky to get the hang of, but don’t let that scare you away from trying them out!

Notes
The fingerless gloves are worked in the round with a sl st to complete each round.
The ch 1 DOES NOT count as a stitch
This pattern is adult sized (one size fits most)

Hook: 4 mm G crochet hook
Yarn: Size 4 yarn. I used “Hobby Lobby I love this Yarn”
Approx. 120 yards of yarn.

CH- Chain
Sl St- Slip Stitch
HDC- Half Double Crochet
DC- Double Crochet
FPDC- Front Post Double Crochet
Special Stitches
RC- Right Cable: Skip 3 Sts, FPDC in the next 3 sts. Bring your hook behind the sts just made, FPDC in each skipped st.
LC- Left Cable: Skip 3 sts, FPDC in the next 3 sts. Bring you hook in front of the sts just made, FPDC in each skipped st.
Gauge
2 X 2 inches = 4 hdc by 4 rows

Cable Fingerless Gloves Pattern
Make 2
Ch 29, Sl St to beginning Ch to create a ring.
Round 1: Ch 1, HDC in each Ch around. (29 HDC)
Round 2: Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, RC, FPDC in the next 3 sts, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in the last 8 sts.
Round 3: Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in next 9 sts, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in last 8 sts.
Round 4: Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in the next 3 sts, LC, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in the last 8 sts.
Round 5: Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in next 9 sts, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in last 8 sts.
Repeat Rounds 2-5 until Round 15.
Right Glove
Round 15: (Right Thumb Opening) Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in next 9 sts, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in next 2 sts, Ch 4, Sk 4, HDC in last 2 sts.
Round 16: (Right Glove)Ch 1, HDC in first 8 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in the next 3 sts, LC, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in the next 2 sts, HDC 4 in the Ch 4 sp, HDC in last 2 sts.
Left Glove
Round 15: (Left Thumb Opening) Ch 1, HDC in first 2 sts, Ch 4, Sk 4, HDC in next 2 sts, FPDC, HDC in next st, FPDC in next 9 sts, HDC in next st, FPDC, HDC in last 8 sts.
