Yarn: Size 4 yarn. I used “Hobby Lobby I love this Yarn” in two colors.
Yarn Alternatives: Red Heart Super Soft, Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, Joann Big Twist
For my main color, I used White, and for my accent color, I used Pink.
Other: Yarn Needle, Stitch Marker & Scissors

Baby Blanket: 625 yards (1,250 total)
Throw Blanket: 660 (1,320 total)
Queen Blanket: 1,320 (2,640 total)
King Blanket: 1,980 (3,960 total)

CH- Chain
SC- Single Crochet
DC- Double Crochet

10 sts X 4 rows = 2 in X 2 in

Interlocked Diamonds Crochet Blanket Pattern
Foundation Row 1
Using main color
Ch 225 (255, 455, 555)
DC in the 10th Ch from your hook. (Place stitch marker in 8th Ch)
DC in the next ch, *ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, dc in each of the next 2 ch; repeat from the * across, ending with ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, dc in the last ch.
Remove the loop from the hook, and make it large so it doesn’t unravel. Do not turn.
Foundation Row 2
Using Accent Color
Working in front of the last row, attach your accent color with a slip st to the eight ch (where your stitch marker is)
Ch 6 (counts as DC, Ch 3 here and throughout), working behind the last row, DC in the same Ch as where the slip st was made.
Working behind the last row, DC in the center Ch of the next Ch-3 of the Foundation Ch, Ch 3, *working in front of the last row, DC in the same Ch of the Foundation Ch as the last DC made.
Working in front of the last row, DC in the center Ch of the next ch-3 of the Foundation Ch, Ch 3, working behind the last row, DC in the same ch of the Foundation Ch as the last DC.
Working behind the last row, DC in the center Ch of the next Ch-3 of the Foundation Ch, Ch 3; repeat from the * across.
Remove the loop from the hook, and make it large so it doesn’t unravel.

Row 1:
Replace the Main Color loop back onto the hook, Ch 6, turn.
Working behind the last (accent color) row, DC in each of the next 2 DC worked with Main Color, ch 3,
*Working in front of the last row, DC in each of the next 2 DC worked with Main Color, Ch 3, working behind the last row, DC in each of the next 2 DC worked with Main Color, Ch 3; repeat from the* across.
Ending with working in front of the last row, DC in the last Ch-sp of the previous main color row.
Remove the loop from the hook, and make it large so it doesn’t unravel. Do not turn.
Row 2:
Keeping the loop in front of the last Main Color row, replace the Accent Color loop onto the hook and Ch 6.
Working behind the last row, DC in the first ch-3 sp of the previous row worked with Accent Color.
Working behind the last row, DC in the next ch-3 sp on the previous Accent Color row, Ch 3,
*working in front of the last row, dc in the same ch-3 sp as the last dc just made.
Working in front of the last row, DC in the next ch-3 sp of the previous Accent Color row, Ch 3, working behind the last row, DC in the same sp as the last DC just made.
Working behind the last row, DC in the next ch-3 sp on the previous Accent Color row, Ch 3; repeat from the * across.
Remove the loop from the hook, and make it large so it doesn’t unravel.
Keep Repeating Rows 1-2 until you reach Row 120 (120, 200, 200)
Final Row
Replace Main Color onto the hook, and turn.
Working in front of the last row, SC in the first DC on the previous Main Color row, Ch 3, working behind the last row, SC in each of the next 2 DC on the previous Main Color row, Ch 3, *working in front of the last row, SC in each of the next 2 DC on the previous Main Color row, Ch 3, working behind the last row, SC in each of the next 2 DC on the previous Main Color row, ch 3; repeat from the * across.
Fasten off.
