Materials
These are the materials you will need no matter what size yarn you are using:
Stick, Cinnamon stick, or wooden dowel rod for the stem
Ribbed Pumpkin Pattern
Create your chain [Your chain will count as the approximate height of the pumpkin; once it is sewn up it will be a little shorter]
Row 1: Slip Stitch in the 2nd Chain from your hook. Slip Stitch in each Chain across.
Row 2: Chain 1, turn work. Slip Stitch in the Back Loop Only in each stitch across.
Repeat Row 2 until you reach your row count. To determine how many rows you should have; No matter the size, whatever your chain amount is, you want to double that number for your row count.
Examples: If you chain 20, create 40 rows. If you chain 12, create 24 rows.
I will share my hook size, and how many chains and rows I created for each yarn size. Check them out below!
