Standard size width will be written first, with the “Blanket” size width in ( ) parentheses. Length can go as long/short as you would like. Stop once it reaches your desired length.
CH 33 (53)
Row 1- (DC, CH 1, DC) in 3rd st from hook. *Sk 1 CH, SC in next CH, Sk 1 CH, (DC, CH 1, DC) in next CH.* Repeat * * until last 2 CH. Sk 1 CH, SC in last CH.
Row 2- CH 4, turn. Sk first SC and DC, * SC in CH 1 sp, CH 1, Sk DC, DC in next sc, CH 1, Sk DC* Repeat * * [Ending with a DC in last st]
Row 3- CH 1, turn. Sk first DC, *Sk CH , (DC, CH 1, DC) in next SC, Sk CH, SC in DC.* Repeat * * until end of row.
Repeat Rows 2-3 until you reach row 200 (or until you reach your desired length!)
Once you have reached the length that fits your style best, you can tie off and weave in any and all ends.
Feel free to add fringe, or leave the ends as is.

Optional Fringe

1- Find a book, dvd case, anything that you will be able to wrap your yarn around. Keep in mind the width of that item will be how long your fringe will be.
2- Wrap your yarn around once, holding the end down with your thumb.
Continue wrapping it around until you have enough for your scarf. (approx 50 times)
4- Turn to the side and cut the strings in half
You will now have 50 strings to use as your fringe. * You may have to repeat these for more string depending on the size you are making.*
Attaching Fringe

1- Grab two pieces of string, and your crochet hook. Line up the two pieces of string, then fold in half.
2- Find the first st from the first Row, insert your hook. Loop the folded strings around your hook, and pull them through the stitch.
3- You will now have a little loop. Wrap the 4 strings around your hook, and pull them through the bottom loop.
4- Pull tightly to secure your knot.
5- Keep repeating these steps skipping one stitch in-between.
