Sizing & Yardage Totals

Notes
This top is loose-fitting.
The squares are 4.5 inches, but once seamed together using the mesh stitch they become about 6 inches by 6 inches.
You can use up to 4 colors in each square. For my sample, I did 1 color per round. Alternating color combos for the first 3 rounds, and used the same color for my last round, and for my seaming.
The top length is approx. 24 inches long from shoulder to end. If you want a more cropped look you can take off a row of squares or use a smaller hook.
If you want a longer top you can add a row of squares.
If you want to make a dress add up to 3 more rows of squares. (I added a total of 6 Rows to create my dress, and it went down to my low shin. I am 5’9)
Please note the yardage listed is for the top (3 rows total).
If you are looking for a loose fit crochet your size from the chart above. (Large size note, if you want a true oversize fit go up to a size XL/2X instructions)
If you want a more fitted look, crochet a size down.
