KeymasterHi makers! We are in the second part of the pattern now! We will be splitting our top to create arm holes and start working on the top mesh portion of the top. You will need your stitch markers!! If you are more of a visual learner please watch this how to video on youtube to create the open lace stitch in this portion:
Adult sizes below. Sizes written in this order: XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
Count 56 (64, 72, 76, 84, 100, 108) sts from stitch marker and place another stitch maker. We will now be splitting the body in half to create a front and back panel, to create arm holes. We will now be working in rows.
**YOU WILL NOW BE TURNING YOUR WORK AT THE END OF EACH ROW.**
Using MC
Row 1: P to the second st marker 56 (64, 72, 76, 84, 100, 108)
Row 2: k to the second st marker (56 (64, 72, 76, 84, 100, 108)
Row 3-11: Repeat Row 1 & 2
Using AC
We are now going to create the top mesh portion (we will be increasing and decreasing so stitch count will be different from above)
Row 12: k2, *YO, K4* repeat * * until last 2 sts. YO k2
Row 13: P2TG *(k1,p1) into the YO from previous row, p2tg, p2tg* repeat * * until the last 3 sts. (k1, p1) into YO, P2tg.
Row 14: *k4, Yo* repeat * * until end.
Row 15: p2, p2tg, *(k1, P1) into YO from last row, p2tg, p2tg* Repeat * * until last 5 sts. (k1.p1) into YO, p2tg, p2.
Rows 16-31 repeat rows 12-15
Row 32- K to the end.
Bind off.
Attach MC to the other side of remaining stitches to create your back panel. You will repeat rows 1-32.

Count 36 sts from stitch marker and place a stitch marker. We will now be splitting the body in half to create a front and back panel, to create arm holes. We will now be working in rows.
Using MC
Row 1: P to the second st marker (36 sts) Turn work
Row 2: k to the second st marker (36 sts) Turn Work
Row 3: P to the second st marker (36 sts) Turn work
Using AC
We are now going to create the top mesh portion (we will be increasing and decreasing so stitch count will be different from above) You will be turning your work after each row.
Row 4: k2, *YO, K4* repeat * * until last 2 sts. YO k2.
Row 5: P2TG *(k1,p1) into the YO from previous row, p2tg, p2tg* repeat * * until the last 3 sts. (k1, p1) into YO, P2tg.
Row 6: *k4, Yo* repeat * * until end.
Row 7: p2, p2tg, *(k1, P1) into YO from last row, p2tg, p2tg* Repeat * * until last 5 sts. (k1.p1) into YO, p2tg, p2.
Rows 8-15 repeat rows 4-7
Row 16- K to the end.
Bind off.
Attach MC to the other side of remaining stitches to create your back panel. You will repeat rows 1-16.

Count 40 sts from stitch marker and place a stitch marker. We will now be splitting the body in half to create a front and back panel, to create arm holes. We will now be working in rows.

Row 2: k to the second st marker (40 sts) turn work
Row 3: P to the second st marker (40 sts) turn work
Using AC
We are now going to create the top mesh portion (we will be increasing and decreasing so stitch count will be different from above) you will turn your work after each row.
Row 4: k2, *YO, K4* repeat * * until last 2 sts. YO k2
Row 5: P2TG *(k1,p1) into the YO from previous row, p2tg, p2tg* repeat * * until the last 3 sts. (k1, p1) into YO, P2tg.
Row 6: *k4, Yo* repeat * * until end.
